One thing we love to do here at Generate is increase our customers’ take home pay, another is saving time for our customers. With a few of these apps below we believe you could save a lot of time. Take a look at the apps below.

Classtree

Issues with consent forms is a consistent theme amongst teachers. With forged signatures, missed deadlines and lost forms being the main culprits. Meaning organising school trips can be a nightmare, but Classtree makes the process painless and paperless. It simply notifies parents of the upcoming school trip. Then it actually lets you attach a consent form for parents to e-sign to go along with the notice. The app even shows you exactly who has seen your note and who owes you a signed form.

Slack

Teachers and lecturers are progressively turning to the messaging tool within the UK to stay in touch beyond school hours. Not only are some lecturers offering text-based “office hours” on the platform. They are even pushing important reminders through the app to their students, for important deadlines or a change of lecture halls.

Educreations

Educreations is an interactive whiteboard app that allows you to create easy to follow tutorials for students. It also boasts an audio function to add audio messages for you lessons. Allowing you to create diagrams, commentary, simple animations, or instructions with coupled audio covering any subject. Plus, you can share video via email, Facebook, or Twitter in addition to the classroom.

TED is a flawless app for teachers. The organisation’s official app houses hundreds of inspiring and intriguing TED Talks. It can give you the inspiration you need to teach a lesson or improve as an educator. It features captivating lectures from industry and subject matter experts. Some of them are seamlessly suited for classroom discussions.
